My drinking team has a racing problem ... and its now become an addiction. Ive been watchin Nascar all my life.. Dale Jr is my favorite driver but Tony Stewart and Kevin Harvick make me smile too. I try to spend as much time as I can at Lake Erie in the summer ... on a Cigarette, Apache, Baja, Checkmate or Scarab ... fast cars, fast boats, big HP .. Im happy. Besides goin fast, music is my next big love. Music has always been a big influence in my life. Grew up listening to my moms old 45s .. and she had a ton.... all the 50s classics. Started goin to concerts when I was 15 or 16. Wish I had all my concert ticket stubs .. Ted Nugent, Accept, Night Ranger, Bon Jovi, Sammy Hagar, Rosie, The Godz, Scorpions, Metallica, Iron Maiden (never could figure out how they made Eddie work), Hank Williams Jr., Van Halen, Def Leppard, Charlie Daniels, Lynard Skynard, Dickie Betts, ZZ Top, Travis Tritt, Motley Crue, Megadeth, Rush, 38 Special, Cinderella, Ronnie James Dio, Limp Bizkit, Hoobastank, 3 Doors Down, Live, Linkin Park, Soil, Molly Hatchet, Mudvayne, Nickelback, Soil, Tesla, Buckcherry, Dope, Kid Rock, Bobaflex .....
In 2007 I was lucky enough to get to become a real racegirl. My first offshore race was in Ocean City, MD on Fathers Day. The power steering went out with 3 laps to go but we finished ... My next race was St Clair, MI where I left with a 3rd place trophy with my team on it. In Pt Pleasant, NJ, I was drafted by a Class 1 team, running 115 mph, to be their navigator and was lucky enough to finish out the year with them. In Key West we rolled the boat while avoiding colliding with a slower boat and then later in the week was hit by a boat from a different class. The Key West Worlds wasn't kind to us but boy what a learning experience.
